Abstract
To the Editor,
I continue reading through various research and current events surrounding the chiropractic profession as I have for several years now. Recently I was brought to laughter while reading a poll found in one of the many chiropractic web sites. Although the topic was far from comical, many of the responses were surely hysterical. To the Editor,
A part of the challenge, if not the major aspect of it, for our profession is the accurate identification of what we provide. I am not referring to the vertebral subluxation complex and the adjustment – I am referring to the nature of the care itself.
Language, especially the English language, is full of contradictions and dialectical confusions. We drive on parkways and park on driveways. We purchase insurance policies that pay up after we die and call them life. Our country spends more than $1 trillion on the treatment of disease and sickness and calls it health care. … (continued in Full Article)
