Abstract

Objective: To describe the positive health outcomes following upper cervical chiropractic care on a patient with Meniere’s disease (MD).

Clinical Features: A 55-year-old male patient who had been diagnosed with Meniere’s disease was experiencing constant dizziness, episodic vertigo, earache, ear noise and occasional deafness. Patient was evaluated which revealed a C1 vertebral subluxation.

Intervention and Outcomes: QSM3 protocol was used in the analysis and management of this patient. After the initial visit and adjustment, the patient claimed to have an immediate improvement and a resolution in symptoms after two weeks of care.

Conclusion: This case study showed a complete resolution of symptoms in a patient under QSM3 chiropractic care who was suffering from Meniere’s disease. This case highlights some of the benefits that can come with the QSM3, tonal chiropractic technique. It emphasizes the need for further investigation on the benefits of this type of care.
