Abstract
Recent neurophysiological research has elucidated the means by which the glymphatic system may deliver interstitial solutes and metabolic waste products from deep brain tissues to the body’s lymphatic and venous circulation for clearance. The implications of these new neurophysiological discoveries to the field of chiropractic care are discussed with respect to current knowledge of the impact of upper cervical subluxation on intracranial fluid dynamics.
