Abstract
Valid, reliable, and fair licensure examinations are critical for public protection, ensuring chiropractic practitioners meet essential competency standards. These examinations uphold professional integrity and foster public trust. The following comprehensive standards guide state regulatory bodies in evaluating and recognizing chiropractic licensure examinations and the agencies administering them. These standards emphasize governance, test design, psychometric soundness, administration, security, fairness, continuous improvement, and stakeholder transparency. Adoption of these standards will establish consistent, transparent, and accountable recognition processes, aligning with best practices in professional credentialing.
